Our Gel Spun Threads are the strongest threads we offer. Available in 50D and 100D in white, these threads have superior strength and lay extremely flat. The 50D is mostly used for lighter work, a popular favourite with some classic fly dressers. While the 100D is very good for working with things like deer hair. When using these it is extremely important to make sure you remove every stand from the cut on the spool before you thread your bobbin. If you don’t do this you may end up with tangles and a birds nest. Use a good light and a magnifying glass to make sure you got them all! This one step will save you tones of frustration in the end.
